It’s JUNE!!! Can you believe it!! We’re almost there guys! Let’s finish out this 3rd grade year strong! We sent an email yesterday letting you know about the student bags that are ready to be picked up today and tomorrow from the glass classroom next to the office between 10-2. We also wrote asking for your help in donating items to our 3rd Grade Super Raffle. Please let us know if you have any questions! Thanks so much for your support with this!! You will notice that we have moved some of our weekly assignments from the daily Google Classroom assignment schedule and MOVED them to the “I’m Bored” BOARD! We still would love for you to continue working on those assignments, however this week, we want you to focus your time and energy on finishing your Fractured Fairy Tales, Science, Social Studies, Math, and Positive Comment Assignments. We will discuss more during our 10:00 ZOOM meeting today. TODAY’S SCHEDULE: 10:00-10:30 → 3A and 3B Whole Class Zoom Meeting 10:35-11:00 → Zoom for the first math groups: Hamann’s Hamburgers and Hot “Capite” Dogs 11:05-11:30 → Zoom for the second math groups: “Ham and” Chicken Nuggets and Mac ‘n Capite Cheese MATH - Make sure to work on your monthly 60 minutes of IXL and 15 sessions of XtraMath *Miss Capite’s Math Class - Today we are going to learn about pictographs during our Zoom. **IMPORTANT*** Please do not start your math homework assignment until AFTER our online lesson. (If you want to print it out beforehand and have it at the meeting that is ok, but again, please do not start it.) Today’s Assignment: 1. Complete the Stuffed Animals Pictograph assignment. You can print this worksheet, complete via Google Slides, or complete by writing your answers on a separate piece of paper. 2. Practice working with pictographs on IXL. Complete at least 10 problems! WRITING- (There is NO more spelling!) You will be focusing this week on writing your Fractured Fairy Tales!! Please be working on them daily and submit your rough drafts by tomorrow (Tuesday, June 2nd) if you’d like us to help you edit. We will make editing suggestions and you can continue working until your final drafts! Enjoy as we can’t wait to hear them! *RELIGION- Your assignment is to read chapter 12 pages 146 thru 151. This assignment is due tomorrow (Tuesday, June 2nd) The chapter 12 book pages can be found in the Google Doc below. https://misscapite.weebly.com/religion-book.html Be sure to hit the "Turn In" button" or "Mark as Done" button when you've completed the assignment. READING- Please complete “Harriet Tubman and the Underground Railroad” which will be due Friday, June 5th. This is your last ReadWorks assignment! Try your best AND be sure to give evidence in your written answers to receive full credit. Be sure to hit SUBMIT on Readworks each time when finished. Lastly, be sure to hit “Mark as Done” in “Your Work” box to get full credit on Google Classroom. *SCIENCE- Your States of Matter assignment is due TODAY 6/1. Let me know if you have any questions! 1.
