(Students worked on getting their information today in computer class. Work book pg. 143 circled IXL and XTRAMATH *LANG ARTS- Personification Worksheet *SPELLING- Unit 10 workbook pg. 104 due tomorrow 5X Each and Chapter 10 Spelling/Definition Test Friday READING- Three Blind Mice AND 4X Reading Log BOTH signed and due Friday SS- Fair on Tuesday, May 1 at 6:00 p.m. (Projects due on Monday, April 30th for presentations) Most of the research will be done here at school. Students are to take that info and put a poster board presentation together. The packet was handed out on Monday. Finish workbook pg. 142 IXL and XTRAMATH *LANG ARTS- Finish the back of the Simile and Metaphor worksheet *SPELLING- Unit 10 (10 Sentences due tomorrow) Pg. 104 Thursday 5X Each and Unit 10 Spelling/Definition Test Friday READING- Three Blind Mice AND 4X Reading Log BOTH signed and due Friday SS- Fair is Tuesday, May 1st. State projects due Monday, April 31st for presentations. Remember, most of the work will be done in computer class here at school. The poster will be completed at home. Division Test bumped to Monday (Study guide in text pg. 382) IXL and XTRAMATH for April (Keep track on your April calendar) *LANG ARTS- Metaphor and Simile worksheet SPELLING- Unit 10 (10 Sent. due Wed.) Workbook pg. 104 due Thursday 5X Each and Unit 10 Spelling/Definition Test Friday READING- Three Blind Mice AND 4X Reading Log BOTH signed and due Friday SOCIAL STUDIES- Our Social Studies Fair is coming up next month on May 1st! We had the students randomly choose 1 of the 50 states to research today. We also handed out the packet explaining this optional project, BUT we highly encourage all to participate as this is a very fun, easy, and educational project that could earn the kids up to 5 bonus points on their term 3 SS grade!! The research will MOSTLY be done here in school during computer class on 50states.com. The poster will be done at home. We've provided a rubric so they know exactly what we are looking for during the presentations on Monday, April 31st and Tuesday May 1st! |
